Um dispositivo da PSP do Porto tem no terreno uma operação policial de combate ao “furto, viciação e desmantelamento de veículos automóveis”, nos distritos do Porto, Lisboa, Braga, Viana do Castelo, Coimbra e Santarém.
A investigação, revela o Comando Metropolitano do Porto da PSP, foi iniciada em 2021 e desenvolvida sob a direção do Departamento de Investigação e Ação Penal (DIAP), e esta quarta-feira está no terreno para a “identificação e detenção dos autores dos ilícitos em foco, apreensão de meios de prova, assim como a recuperação de artigos e viaturas furtadas”.
No âmbito da operação Blackout, como foi designada e que ainda está em curso, foram feitas cerca de 40 buscas domiciliárias e não domiciliárias – armazéns, stands de automóveis e oficinas de mecânica, tendo sido feitas já três detenções e apreendidas 14 viaturas “suspeitas de furto ou contendo componentes furtados”.
